This service is for you if you are a Brazilian academic working in a linguistics, literature or humanities discipline.
Translation
If you want to publish or submit your paper or presentation in English, I will translate it and prepare it for publication or submission to the same academic standard as though it were originally written in English.
For presentations in English I will also give you advice on any English intonation issues specific to your text. Click here to contact me for a quotation.
Revision
If you have written your paper in English, I will revise and give critical commentary on your English style.
Warning! This service is only available to Brazilians with near-native writing abilities in English.
The idea is for me to comment on your work in terms of academic style and to polish your text so it is ready for publication in an academic journal (or other stated purpose) in the same way I would do for an English native speaker.
I specialize in working with Brazilians and can identify many common mistakes in Brazilian/ English writing style, but I will only revise your work if your English is already top notch.
The process of academic translation and revision is usually a collaborative and communicative process, and one of my objectives in revising texts is to help you improve your academic style and eliminate future errors in English.
I am based in Brazil and am available to work via email with Brazilian academics based at universities anywhere, from Brazil to the UK, from Ireland to Australasia.
